Description |
Rectangular box-like carving with a floral design and lined incisions on body. Knob in centre of cover. Made from oak and cedar wood. This intricately carved trinket box was made by and purchased from Mr. Gilbert Nicely after being exhibited in the Musgrave Medal Awards in October of 1997. Gilbert Nicely is a self-taught sculptor and furniture maker who has been making furniture for over 40 years in the parish of St. Mary. |
