Description |
Circular bronze object with inscription "Amateur Athletics Union of the United States. MDCCCLXXXVIII" and a female figure with three wreaths, standing on a wheel on the obverse side. Printed on the reverse side is a wreath around circumference with the word "CHAMPION" and sporting equipment and in the centre is inscribed 600 yds and R45. This medal was awarded to the Hon. Herb McKenley, Jamaican track and field athlete. |
