Description |
Blue and white ceramic jug, almost cylindrical, tapering to mouth, with "Jamaica Exhibition 1891" printed below image of the building which housed the exhibition on both sides of jug. Stylized scalloped end handle with gold line. Gold lines also around rim and other sections of body and jug carries a spout. This jug is on display in the "Treasures, Mysteries and Stories" Exhibition at National Museum Jamaica. |
