Description |
Navy blue military jacket with eight gold buttons running down the front. A pair of military symbols are on the collar. Jacket has a high collar design of beige textile with gold lining, the sleeve cuffs are of the same pattern. On the cuffs of the jacket are gold interwoven cord design on a section. On shoulder pads are gold chords interwoven with five military insignias on each collar. At the back section of jacket there are eight military buttons in a 'U' type pattern with insignias. A gold cord design outlines buttons. This tunic was possibly worn by an Officer in the British Army Service Corps during World War I. |
