Description |
Scarlett broadcloth tunic with five (5) brass buttons on front (3 buttons are missing) and eight (8) button-holes. Shoulder has gold corded designed epaulettes, an adornment with military insignia and a gold button on each epaulette. Stand collar design black and white with gold trimmings an hook and eye on front section. The back of jacket has six (6) gold buttons in mid-section in an intricate pattern with white cord trimmings. Long sleeves with dark blue cuffs, gold trimmings and a cord design pattern on lower section of sleeve. Beige inner lining. This British Military Tunic was possibly worn by an Officer between the late 1800s and early 1900s. |
