Description |
Pointed tip, petaloid shape object greyish in colour, possibly the tip of a spear made from stone. Taino, the earliest inhabitants of Jamaica made their tools, weapons and utensil from materials found in their natural environment, such as stones, clay, wood and shells. Arrow heads were usually made from flint, a metamorphic rock and attached to a wooden shaft to hunt small animals for food. The Taino often poisoned the tip of the arrowhead to make it more deadly when fighting their enemies. |
