Description |
Small circular brass button with an eye on reverse side. Buttons are clothing fastener and originated in 2000 BCE in the Indus Valley. Buttons then were more ornamental and showed status and wealth. The button as it is now was first introduced in 13th century europe when botton holes were invented. Buttons were made from different materials such as bone, wood, meral, ceramic and even paper. |
